We are finally getting to go to one of my favorite areas - the Southwest. We had planned to visit here in 2003, but we had an unexpected opportunity to go to Alaska and so we postponed our adventures to the Southwest.
The highlights included the southwest deserts with their dramatic cacti, ancient Native American ruins, the National Parks (Grand Canyon, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Arches National Park) and State Parks.
